This book " Titled Poongodai Pugazh Maalai " contatins more than 40 songs in Tamil composed by P.Sunadararajan. The book starts with mangalasasanams by great personalities and the story of Andal as an introduction . The songs are set to simple carnatic ragas and simple Thalas. These songs can be rendered during Religious functions , in the temples , during marriages etc. Also the songs can be taught to children .
